The SureFlap Microchip Mounting Adapter is designed for installing a SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap or a SureFlap DualScan Cat Flap into walls and doors with flat surfaces. This accessory allows mounting holes ranging from 8 1/2" to 10 1/4" diameter. This mounting adapter is a great option when replacing an existing cat flap. In some instances you will have a larger cutout size than what is required for the SureFlap, and this mounting adapter is a great solution in covering that larger opening cut. This installation method helps to avoid unsightly adhesives, and also allows you to install the SureFlap Microchip cat flap or SureFlap DualScan Cat Flap without drilling through any part of the actual SureFlap Cat Flap since the pilot holes are in the mounting adapter. This also makes it easier to remove the SureFlap at a later date if needed.
