The Security Boss Magnets are used in the MaxSeal Pet Door models as well as the 3-Sided and 4-Sided Kennel Dog Doors. These alnico magnets are cylindrical and come with the aluminum housing that allows you to easily insert into your frame if you ever need to refurbish your dog or pet door. Each magnet should line up with the Strike Plate that is riveted to your flap so there is a positive seal created for your pet door. These magnets are not your ordinary magnets, they are steel alnico high strength magnets. Security Boss only uses premium components in their products.

Note :Security Boss magnets are easily removed with a flat head screwdriver. When inserting a replacement magnet gently tap the legs of the magnet holder into your pet door frame until snug. See video below for more detail.
