Each pet door includes a 1/4" slide-in Locking Security Panel that slides in from the top to block off the pet door or completely removed to allow your pet access. This panel is designed to provide more security than any other utility pet door on the market. The included aluminum tunnel measures 10", making it suitable for wall depths of 10" or less, with optional grey or brown carpet. This aluminum tunnel is easily trimmed with a pair of tin snips. The weatherized flap is located on the outside frame, providing maximize seal for weather protection. This pet door is offered in WHITE or BRONZE (Dark Brown) powder coated aluminum frames. The Security Panel comes in white or black.
Note: Optional Extreme High Wind Magnets are available for very windy locations.

We suggest that when pre-cutting the rough for any pet door, that you add at least an 1/8" to the width and height to allow for easy fitting. Some Rough cuts are more precise and may fit tighter if the hole is not completely true.We always recommend that the door is on hand prior to cutting. We will not be responsible for re-fitting after the fact.

Flaps:

Closing Panel:
The Standard Wall Mount Pet Door features a 1/4" thick slide in closing panel that is slid in from the top.
Color Options:
Two powder coated frame color options are available, white or bronze. The security panel is available in white or black.

Below Average Product for Price
I have spent less that half the purchase price on another door (PetSafe) and gotten the same quality. This door has a tiny screw lock that you must use to lock/unlock the security panel rather than a pin lock. Per the online instructions and the instructions received with the door, it has a pin lock which is much easier to use. When I called about the lock I was told the pin lock is used on the Max Seal Door (about $600.00 for the size I ordered) and the sent/online instructions are for that door. If shipping was not so expensive I would be sending these back.

Solid and well made
This is a good solid unit, all heavy duty metal and built to last. Easy to install and good instructions - the metal of the tunnel is pretty stout and took some effort to cut with tin snips, but worth it to have such a strong finished product. I've used Security Boss window units often in my catio business, and really like their flaps - thick and durable but easy to push through, and really good weatherstripping and dual magnets keep drafts and bugs out.
