They last and last. Probably would last even longer if I did Maintenance on them regularly. The dogs like them and that helps.

We've been loyal customers of the MaxSeal dog doors for over a decade, putting in both wall and door-mounted versions in various houses. The behemoth size works perfectly for our Great Danes. Even though we live in an area with some extreme weather, the MaxSeal flaps work great. We replace the flaps every several years, but it is easy to do and keeps the snow outside even when the wind is blowing.

After years of having the Moore dog door installed, I needed to replace the flap. What an easy process and transaction. Since I was already on file, I was able to purchase new magnetic flaps, received my order in a few days and installed the new flaps. Balance has been brought back to the house and all is well. Myself and my son have been buying replacement flaps for years for our MaxSeal Doors.

We have had our dog door for almost 10 years. Our 2 dogs run through the door at top speeds and the original flaps finally tore at the mounting grommet. We ordered the replacement flaps and they were cut a little too small and the flaps didn't seal. I contacted Security Boss and they replaced them for us. I installed the new ones and they fit perfectly. I hope we get another 10 years out of these ones. Highly recommend this dog door.

This door is very well made and durable. I have three dogs who go in and out all day long, and I didn't have to replace the flaps until seven and a half years after installation! Replacement was easy and it's as good as new.
