Insulating Flaps to Replace Your Old MaxSeal Flaps
MaxSeal flaps are made specific to size as well as their location of interior or exterior in your pet door. A exterior flap will not line up correctly with the magnets of the interior frame and vice versa. The magnet placement of both the interior and exterior of your pet door are designed to provide you with an optimum seal. Altering the placement of these magnet positions will affect the performance of your door. All Security Boss products are hand built to order.Replacing your MaxSeal flaps is easy and can be done without removing the pet door frames. Thumbscrews located at the top of the flap can be loosened by hand or by Allen wrench (Provided in your hardware packet when you purchased the door). If you have any difficulty you can place a Flathead screwdriver behind the flap and apply some pressure to allow thumbscrews to catch.

Replacement flaps for dog door
This door is very well made and durable. I have three dogs who go in and out all day long, and I didn't have to replace the flaps until seven and a half years after installation! Replacement was easy and it's as good as new.

Perfect Replacement Flap
Exactly fits, no adjustment needed. Does require quite a bit of patience to install. Removing the old screws was more difficult than expected, and aligning the holes and reinserting new screws was a bit challenging, but I am very happy with the results. Worth the effort.

MaxSeal Flap!
Old ones were a pain to remove. New ones went on like Donkey Kong! Next time I will buy the hinged ones. That might be 3+ years!

Best pet door EVER!
We love our Security Boss dog/cat door!! We've had the original flaps w door since 2013!! 8 years and they still work great. One tab hole ripped thru so we replaced the whole set. These replacements will outlast our pets. Great product!
