Exterior frame for kennel doors
The 3-Sided Exterior Kennel Door is made with a heavy-duty extruded aluminum, and has double reinforced mitered corners for structural strength. The flap is UV protected and has embedded nylon cords that run vertically in the material,. These flaps are also weatherized to prevent shrinking in sub-zero temperatures. Each flap has 1 1/2" long Alnico #5 magnets located on the sides that create a positive seal. (The number of magnets will vary depending on the size of the door being made). Both sides of the flap are also lined with heavy density brush weatherstripping to prevent any drafts. The flap length is 3/16" shorter than the sides of the door to minimize any scraping or wear due to movement on the kennel floor. The 3-Sided Exterior Professional doors are designed to be installed on the exterior side of the wall, allowing for full use of the interior mounted guillotine doors. When used together, you have controlled access along with unparalleled energy savings. Wall penetrations can vary greatly from facility to facility. Therefore our doors are custom made to the required dimensions.

Product Note:The 3-Sided Exterior Professional uses a heavy duty hinge that connects the flap to the door frame. This model using the heavy duty hinge is typically recommended for kennels that incur high use as well as those that may house larger or high energy animals.

Three sided opening are common in kennel facilities. These types of openings allow the operator to easily hose out / clean the individual pen area by washing debris outside of the building. Often these openings are specified by the architect in the early planning stages.
We encourage both owners and architects to contact us at the earliest phase of planning the facility to discuss possible options for kennel doors that would work best for the facility. We have a kennel consultant that can be contacted for kennel design free of charge.

Good doors - works well A+
We couldn't attach a bottom frame so we went with these 3 sided frames. They really do seal and work well! We bought one to test and install to make sure it would work, and it wasn't a difficult decision to buy the rest. I highly recommend these doors, they are most excellent!

Very Nice
We wanted to go with the swing kennel clad (potential chewers!) but we couldn't attach a frame on the bottom!! Decided to try one of these out, and the dogs we thought may chew on the flaps didn't even try (maybe it's the metal plates or tight connection?) We ended up buying some more and we've been soooo impressed! Definitely high performance as advertised! Higher priced than we wanted to spend, but everyone involved has been happy with the decision (the decision maker - who knows how much we would spend in replacement parts and energy loss with other doors!?!?!?!?)

Worth It
These doors have been a lifesaver for my kennel. I used to just have simple flaps cover most of the openings in my kennel but ever since I upgraded to this door it has done wonders. I have noticed a huge savings in energy and they look much better as well. Thanks!

Perfect for the Doghouse

Very convenient
We definitely made the right decision getting these doors over plastic ones. It has been a major blessing to our kennel. We don't have to worry about air leakage anymore and it was a very easy install. I would recommend these doors to anyone. Awesome product!

Unique design
I have not seen a door designed like this yet. I really like the gap at the bottom that allows me to spray the kennel out with ease when I need to clean it. Even with the gap this door has smokes any other kennel door I have had when it comes to insulation. Great product!

Weather tight seal
I am not much of a review writer, but I had to compliment this door. This has complimented my already installed guillotine doors very well. It's very convenient to be able to leave the guillotine door up knowing that there is a weather barrier with the flap stopping any air from getting. And best of all, it saves us a bunch of money!!!!
