The SB72 was designed specifically for two groups of customers:
1. Customers who lock their dogs OUTSIDE and have experienced chewing problems 2. Customers living in the extreme northern climates where temperatures get below -40 degrees farenheit. |
This model features an insulated rigid flap that is clad on both sides with aluminum and reinforced with rugged aluminum framing channel. The quiet swing action makes this ideal for use in your home. The exterior flap has been designed to perform in harsh or extreme environments. The door components are all high grade aluminum that is naturally rust resistant. The heavy duty internal hinge is stainless steel, housed in custom brass bushings. Our insulated flap is comprised of an inner polycarbonate, air cell center that is clad in aluminum, and reinforced with customized framing on all sides. Embedded rare earth magnets along the bottom of the flap and bottom framing align to provide for positive closing every time. Replaceable weather stripping lines all sides of the swing door frame. The swing motion of the door is easy to use but not recommended for toy breeds or cats.

11x16 lockable door-install dog door in white
I haven’t had the opportunity to get this dog door installed yet, but it’s my 3rd dog door from this company, and the quality continues to be top notch.. My last dog door consisted of durable plastic double flaps with a magnetized trim along the bottom that formed a very good seal against the cold. That dog door is still in use, more than 10 years later. This newest dog door is a single plastic flap with magnets along the bottom and an outer aluminum flap, which is a thoughtful upgrade. The shipping was fast, and customer service was professional. I can recommend this product. It’s the most durable pet door I have ever had and it stands up to many seasons of an upstate NY winter.

Amazing
I really don't think we could find a nice door on the market! Trust me, we searched high and low for something that would insulate and would prevent my dog from chewing on the flap (we lock him outside sometimes, so he would chew on the outside flap) what a perfect solution!

Worth every penny
I was hesitant when I saw the price, but I couldn't find a door on the market that looked like it would hold up against my dogs. I'm glad I made the investment, it's worth every penny and I have already recommended it to a couple of my friends with large dogs.

Highly recommend
This is by far the best dog door I've ever seen! I looked locally and the doors I considered look like they'd be chewed up within a week. I can't imagine anything short of a nuclear bomb destroying this dog door.. I highly recommend it, it's the Chuck Norris of dog doors!
