This innovative thermostat controller will maintain any preselected temperature between 40F and 105F. This thermostat controller provides a safety feature that self activates at 111F shutting power off completely to the heat mat. Once the temperature reaches below the thermostat setting power would be restored to the heat mat.

Kane Poly Pet Mat with Integrated Adjustable Thermostatic Control
Excellent. I set the heat temp to 102 (cats body heat) and it will maintain the heat to within 2 degrees above or below that. This mat is outside but protected from wet elements. Winter temps here can go down to 25 degrees. I did not like the heating pad that came with the outdoor cat house...it only went on when the cat was on it and then was only barely warm. This stays on and warm so the cat doesn't have to lie down on a cold surface and wait for the heat.
