The Petsafe Small Wall Entry Pet Door frame is constructed of sturdy aluminum and comes only in white at this time. The tunnel itself is a black solid mold plastic without corner seams. The dual flap design provides for better insulating in environments where there may be warm or cold conditions. The flaps on this door are a translucent-tinted color and are replaceable. The slide in locking panel can be inserted on the interior or the exterior side of the pet door. The locking panel slides in from the top. (Note: These pet doors require a screw bolt -molly that is inserted next to the cut-out hole through the wall. For this reason the difficulty greatly increases when installing this door in a stucco or adobe exterior wall...for these types of install we recommend the MaxSeal Wall model).

Quality Door
I live in northern Wisconsin and I was hesitant about ordering an economical door for this type of climate and I was impressed. This door has kept out the cold air and my pet instantly learned a new exit from my home. Overall a great door.

Very Pleased
I bought this door because I could not afford the high price on hale and dogwalk doors. I was a little sceptical about what the quality would be like because it costs so much less, but after installing the door and having it for a few weeks, It has been great. I live in Northern Minnesota and I have been impressed by how it has kept the cold out of the house so far, and my dog has had no trouble manuvering through the dual flaps.
