The Cardinal Gates Hardware Kits have been designed to accommodate the mounting of Cardinal Gates to specific mounting application. These adapter kits allow you to mount to spindles, posts and wrought fences.

These solid wood clamps will work with both square or round posts, ensuring proper and secure mounting of the Cardinal gate. Post sizes must be 3 3/4" or smaller in overall width.

To help better understand the information below, review where you would like to install your gate. The majority of times it's best to mount the hinged side of the gate to a wall (and always to a stud for optimal stability). Sometimes it works best to attach the hinged side of the gate to a post, or even spindles. In order to effectively secure the hinged side of the gate to these less common surfaces, we offer a selection of mounting hardware to assist you. Below are some combinations, with images, that will help you decide if these optional kits are helpful in your situation.
