I'm long retired and was never a "handy-lady" around the house, so when I inquired about installation, your suggestion to contact a local contractor and my home improvement store led me to a great individual who did a terriffic job!

I ordered my door from you in the middle of May and installed it right away. The person I spoke with on the phone said this was the most energy efficient door out there, but my thoughts were "A pet door is a pet door." I was wrong. It has been extremely hot this summer and I was worried that I would see a jump in my utility bills because the AC would escape through the pet door and that is not the case at all. This is a fantastic door!

I live in Canada, so I purchased this door because it was supposed to be great for insulation. My 3 German Shephards fly through this door probably 100 times a day, and the door seals the way its supposed to every time. I couldn't believe it!! I thought for sure I would be buying replacement flaps all the time the way my dogs run at the door full speed, but the flaps have proven to be very durable as well. This is a fantastic dog door.

I bought this door leading from my 4 seasons room to my garage. From my garage, I have another brand pet door going to the outside. I wasn't sure that a single flap would be enough to keep out a draft between the garage and our porch, but I tried it anyway. Let me tell ya, the MaxSeal's single flap seals tighter than the dual flap on my other dog door. Before next winter, I will be replacing that one with a MaxSeal as well.

I was looking for a door that would have some pretty decent insulation, because i like in the CO mountains. I was looking at the Ruff Weather (i think that was the name) because i didnt want to spend a bunch of money. I called and talked to one of the reps and he mentioned this Maxseal thing.
