The Wood Slat Extra Large Stairway Gate is nearly identical in appearance to the Wood Slat Large Stairway Gate, but fits slightly wider openings. This Extra Large Wood Slat Stairway Gate measures 32" to 54" wide while the Large Wood Slat Stairway Gate fits 31" to 51". Both gates measure the same height overall at 32". This extra large hardware mounted gate is certified to be used at the top or bottom of stairways.

This extra large stairway gate features 2 7/8" wood bar spacings that is ideal at restricting small pet access. The gate frame is constructed of durable American hardwood and is made in the USA. This tall 32" gate height with the narrow bar spacings makes this a great choice at restricting small to large pet access. The hardware mounting style eliminates the need for a bottom brace bar to stabilize the gate (These bottom bars can be a tripping hazard in some situations involving stairs).

This gate is designed to be only swung open in one direction, allowing it to be placed at the top or bottom of stairways. This extra large gate also includes a wooden support bar to help stabilize the gate when fully expanded. This gate is JPMA certified as a child safety gate, featuring a one handed locking mechanism that is simple for adults to operate, but very difficult for children. This gate can fit opening from 32" to 54" wide and measures 32" tall.
